Where did I "propose" or even say I wanted a society like that?

It's what we have actually had for centuries but we've been very adept at avoiding talking about it.

Benefits are set at a level so as to keep low-level crime manageable.

Wages are determined by what customers are prepared to pay for a product or service, along with what a business owner is looking to make in profit from running that business; what YOU feel should happen is not part of the equation.

Your sphere of influence is limited to not giving such businesses your custom until the time they meet with your approval.

You don't get it Svennie do you.......now Boris or Pritti or any future UK government can't hide behind EU policy when dealing with issues that have always been there. Now problems have to be dealt with not just agreed it is a problem to be 'managed' as an EU state.

No more sweeping it under the proverbial carpet.....

Everybody complaining that Belarus is allowing third worlders in and shoveling them off to the EU, but that is exactly what France is doing.

Oxbore what a load of bollocks
So basically you want a society where people are treated as third class citizens so you can live in your ivory tower.I personally think the greedy bastard employers should pay a decent wages and benefits cut for lazy spongers
I'm not left wing by the way,but the society you propose or want is injustice

Sidey
You should know there are no 'remainers'. Brexit is done and I am just another UK resident who has to deal with the outcome.
Yes, the UK & France had a problematic relationship over this but that was when the EU should have had some sort of policy on dealing with refugees and disputes involving member countries.
Now its just one EU country passing on problems to a non EU country so whatever minimal / inadequate solutions they had then have dissolved to a massive disinterest & probably a bit of gratitude that France are able to pass it on to an irrelevant (to them) OUTSIDER. A nobody, not one of the club. Job done. Over to you, Boris & Priti.

Voters need to understand that this country can't function without an underclass - a subset of society that works hand-to-mouth, outside the benefits net most of us enjoy.

If the indigenous people won't fulfil that role, then it must be populated by imports, legal or otherwise.

With France’s help, let’s admit it the invasion of this country has gathered pace and only very big ideas will try to sort this out.
We haven’t made this easy for ourselves have we though with the messages we have been sending out with 4 star hotels the prize to get here for some.
Quite what those very big ideas will be, but this problem isn’t going to go away overnight now the floodgates are open.
I reckon we need to spend literally billions sorting this out, but what price the country’s security?

I see that the top frog is now having a strop over some words the top beefeater said in a letter.

Fuck me! Your country is willingly sending people to their death and YOU, Mr. Froggy McFrogface, are worried about what somebody said. Bad "protocol", apparently.

Get a fucking LIFE, you election losing tart - and help save others.

100% Francs fault. They have thousands of immigrants in their country who make no effort to claim asylum but instead of deporting them they aid them in their quest to get here.
If france said tomorrow they would accept them back this sordid episode would be over.

"Illegal immigration and uncontrolled mass immigration (both legal and illegal) remain the biggest threats to this country over everything else, including covid. "

This was the reason many voted for Brexit whether they admit it or not. That and the BLUE PASSPORTS

The reality seems to be that more boats are coming over than ever and the French are waving them over knowing they are going to a non EU country so they don't need to cooperate in stopping it.
And when the UK complain the French SHRUG & the EU says 'nothing to do with us, guv / monsieur / senor'

WHOEVER COULD HAVE GUESSED THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN THE OUTCOME?

Re: At least 27 migrants drown in deadliest ever incident on the Channel:
I see the media cycle has moved on from this and moved back to covid. The 'grief window' has now closed and the media are now back to not caring about this problem.

Meanwhile thousands more immigrants will illegally come to this country on dinghies to ponce off the state and destabilise our democracy, both culturally and socially.

Illegal immigration and uncontrolled mass immigration (both legal and illegal) remain the biggest threats to this country over everything else, including covid. Everything else is smoke and mirrors.

Brexit was to stop the unfettered, unmanaged and uncontrollable immigration created to the UK by the EU's Freedom of Movement act. This is only related by the fact that the word immigration is used to cover both activities. I can see where that would cause YOU confusion Knoblerone, me old china.

Oh, and serve up this proof that I'm on here 24 hours a day, me old daisy, put it next to your claim that one of Brexit 's aims was to control illegal immigration.

chop-chop - there's a game on soon.
